Abstract
Hemiballism is one of very rare neurological symptoms with typical involuntary movements in the limb of one side. It occurs when the subthalamic nucleus or its vicinity has some hemorrhage or softening by vascular disease or is destroyed by destructive lesions such as gumrna and tuberculoma We experienced one case of hemiballism in the 34th week pregnant woman who seemed to be accompanied by chronic hypertensive vascular disease with superimposed, acute toxemia.
